The Keep Walking sessions has enabled us to maintain connections
with others and the opportunity to share how we are adapting to the ‘new normal’.
A highlight for me in August was welcoming three more people on the walks. Another was making those connections. One thing that stood out was a moment of reminiscing with another walker about our childhood memories of the Caribbean. We shared similarities in our journeys in the Caribbean and transition to the UK.
Autumn is fast approaching! It’s important that we keep our exercise up to help maintain good metabolism and circulation during the cold weather. If you didn’t manage to come on the walks this summer, it’s not too late.
Keep Walking will continue with a change to the start time from – Saturday 5th September 2020.
